Item number: 17328030 | A Sale Highlight! Entire Cache found buried together. Lot includes a Platform Pipe made from Pipestone that exhibits a scooped bowl that was intentionally not drilled. There is some minor repair that is not significant considering the rarity of the artifact, to the bottom of the base of the Pipe. The cache also includes a shell bead necklace, three drills; twelve drilled animal teeth, an Earspool with moderate damage, a Pipestone Cone in excellent condition, and four larger Beads. Found in Grand Rapids, Michigan by Alfred Thomas along the Grand River. The family sold the collection in 2011.
