A near mint German Produced Chilean Military M1895 Mauser 7x57 mm Bolt-Action Rifle in excellent condition with a very good bore. Matching - very high quality! Overall Condition is Excellent. Metal finish is bright and shows minimal marks throughout. Wood condition is excellent with strong cartouches. There are some mars on the stock but nothing that detracts from the gun. There are some mars by the bolt handle as well. Bore and riflings are bright and strong. Shows little to no use. A wonderful example of a fine rifle.

There is some original soldering from the front sight that dripped down when it was put together. There is also a large spot on the receiver that is discolored. Wood Condition is excellent. There is what looks like some light paint overspray on the left hand side of the stock. Rifling and bore is bright and strong. Action is tight and seems to function properly.

This rifle features the target peep rear sight, with hooded front sight, over barrel, scope mounts, and a replacement 10 rd magazine. Mechanically, the rifle appears to function properly, and the bore has strong clean rifling. The metal appears to retain 98% of the original finish. The stock has some minor handling wear, with small knicks, dings and scratches. Many of these were used by the US Military as training rifle.

Swedish Carl Gustaf 1899 Dated model 38 Bolt Action Short Rifle 6.5x55 Short Rifle FFL: 16828 in good to very good condition. The Swedish Mausers were regarded as some of the most accurate and highest quality rifles made. Some of the full sized rifles were later converted to the short rifle configuration starting in 1938. This rifle has the barrel condition disk marked as a 1 and 0, meaning the best condition barrel. Upon examination, the barrel has strong rifling, a decent crown to the muzzle, and is threaded with a thread protector attached. Mechanically the controls appear to function properly. The metal shows some fading and wear in places, but still retains approximately 85% of the original bluing. The serial numbers appear to be matching with the exception of the magazine floor plate, and the cleaning rod; small import marks are present on the barrel. The wood has some minor scrapes and mars, but otherwise it retains a very attractive luster and finish. This variation is sometimes referred to as the M 96-38, but this was not an official designation.

It is missing most of the original handguard and barrel sight, but a receiver rear peep ,sight was added. Missing the magazine spring and follower as with most .22 versions. Action is tight and seems to function properly. Bore is dirty and shows signs of heavy use.
