Smith & Wesson 586-1 .357 Mag

Description

Make: Smith & Wesson Model: 586-1 Caliber: .357 Mag Action: DA Barrel: 6 Bore: Shiny Serial # AWV9173 Condition: Very Good Manufactured in 1987 based on its three-letter "AWV" serial number prefix block, this "Distinguished Combat Magnum" represents a peak era in Smith & Wesson's premium carbon steel wheel-gun engineering. Built on the robust, medium-heavy L-frame chassis, it features a beautifully polished factory blued finish, an integrated full under-lug barrel designed to tame full-power magnum recoil, and a six-shot cylinder capacity. As a Dash-1 engineering variant, this model is highly prized by collectors for maintaining the classic, traditional hammer-nose firing pin assembly right before mechanical updates altered the line. It delivers an incredibly smooth double-action pull paired with a match-grade single-action break. Please use the photos as final judgment before bidding.
