The threaded end connects to FIP (female iron pipe). The other end connects via the ProPEX ASTM F1960 expansion method for strong, durable, reliable connections to Uponor PEX-a pipe. The product features the NSF us-pw-G marking for compliance to state and federal lead-free requirements. Combine with Uponor PEX-a pipe, Uponor engineered polymer (EP) fittings, and Uponor ProPEX out-of-the-wall support systems for a complete lead-free solution from inlet to faucet without the need for torches, glues, solvents, gauges, or fire-watch requirements.
