This lot offers a pair of Catholic religious books representing keepsake and devotional traditions. The first book is titled "Mein Kommuniongeschenk," published in Germany by Butzon & Bercker, and dates to at least 1918. It served as a commemorative guide and prayer book for boys and girls on the day of their First Holy Communion.
