Whitman's Salmagundi Decorative Lithographed Tin Box

Description

Rectangular metal tin decorated with intricate mosaic-style patterns and a central Art Nouveau portrait of a woman with long, flowing hair, identified as a "Whitman's Salmagundi" box. The tin is hinged at the back and opens to reveal a metallic interior. Lithographed designs cover all visible surfaces, with the lid prominently featuring the Whitman's branding and detailed ornamental borders. The exterior shows wear consistent with age and use, including some surface scratching and loss of lithography in some areas. See photos for measurements, if taken.
