Antique Victorian Spindle Wood Rocking Chair Upholstered

Description

Antique wooden rocking chair featuring an ornate turned spindle frame, decorative back crest, scroll-style arm supports, and upholstered seat and back panels. The construction and styling give it a strong late Victorian / turn-of-the-century appearance. The chair retains older upholstery with an additional removable seat/back cushion currently tied in place. Condition shows substantial age and storage wear, including heavy dust and surface dirt, finish wear, scratches, discoloration, and wear to the upholstery. The rear upholstery panel shows age-related staining and deterioration. Wood surfaces and rockers show wear consistent with an older piece. No restoration has been attempted. A great decorative restoration project or period accent chair. Please review photos carefully for condition and details. Sold as pictured.
