Pair of Pennsylvania Dutch pie plates by The Pfaltzgraff Co., York, Pennsylvania, each with its original box. The box labels read “Pennsylvania Dutch Pie Plate” and feature colorful Pennsylvania Dutch-style bird graphics along with a printed pie recipe and the phrase “Makes the Best Pie in the Land.” Labels also note Pfaltzgraff Potters Since 1811. Includes 2 dark brown glazed pie plates, each measuring approximately 9.5”–10” diameter. Pre-owned condition with general wear from age, use, and storage. Plates show surface marks, scratches, and residue. Original boxes show notable wear, discoloration, dust, edge wear, and staining consistent with age and storage.
