Vintage MCM 5 Light "Hydra" Arc Floor Lamp

Description

This iconic "Hydra" arc floor lamp is a hallmark of Mid-Century Modern and Space Age design from the 1960s and 1970s. The five lights on this floor lamp rest along sweeping, adjustable chrome gooseneck arms, allowing it to fan out or consolidate illumination across a room. Each arm resolves in a polished chrome mushroom shade, which focuses downwards for task lighting while adding a dramatic sculptural element to any living space. Balanced by a heavy, stabilizing rectangular base wrapped with a sleek hoop handle, this statement piece effortlessly blends functionality with a bold, vintage aesthetic reminiscent of classic Italian and Scandinavian modernist designs.
