Large Red Glazed Floor Vase with Tall Tapered Neck

Description

This floor vase features a striking red glazed finish with a tall, elongated tapered neck and rounded body. The design showcases circular, hand-applied ridges running along both the neck and body, giving a textural visual effect that echoes wheel-thrown pottery techniques. The glaze is a deep, rich red with darker streaking, imparting depth and variation to the exterior. The top rim shows visible wear, with some chips and glaze loss. The underside shows typical concentric glazing rings from the production process. This statement piece would be especially notable in an entryway or gallery setting.
