Framed T. F. Morgans "If I Could Be Your" Postcards - Set of 3

Description

This lot features a charming framed set of three circa 1910s T. F. Morgans postcards, each depicting a different illustration of a woman with accompanying romantic poetry. The series is known as "If I Could Be Your". The postcards are matted and presented in a dark wood frame with a glass front. The illustrations show a woman in a fur stole, a woman swimming, and a woman with a pink parasol. Each postcard includes a stanza of poetry, such as "If I could be the winds that play Around your locks of hair, I'd slyly steal below some day And kiss you unaware." The frame measures approximately 16 inches wide by 8 inches tall. Condition is good for its age; the frame shows minor wear, scuffs, and some finish loss consistent with age and handling.
