Vintage J.L. Brooch Pins with Children Scenes

Description

A pair of vintage oval brooch pins, each featuring a delightful depiction of children by artist J.L. One pin illustrates three children engrossed in a book, while the other portrays two children in a winter scene, one assisting the other on what appears to be ice. Both pins are crafted from wood with an overlaid printed image and a simple brass pin mechanism on the reverse. The images show signs of age-appropriate wear, including some scratching and surface discoloration. Signed "J.L." on the front of each piece.
