CATALYTIC CONVERTER DISCLOSURE: Due to the nature of the origin of these vehicles, the City and County of Denver, nor Dickensheet & Associates, Inc. make any guarantee that any of these vehicles still have their catalytic converter. There will be no refunds or any kind of discount given if the vehicle is missing its catalytic converter.

Unless stated in the description of the posting, keys are not available with vehicle.

No inspection available for this auction. Please fully review all photographs and run any/all Carfax, Experian, AutoCheck or other reports prior to bidding to feel comfortable with your purchase(s). The vehicles cannot be physically reviewed prior to payment.

The purchase is for a vehicle outlined and not a guarantee for personal property that may/may not be located in the vehicle when relocated from the lot. Under no circumstances will a refund or adjustment be made due to the personal property failing to meet buyer's expectations.

All personal property found within the vehicle during removal is the property of the buyer. Buyer must take all contents of the vehicle. Any property from vehicle found in impound lot or along the adjacent property may be considered illegal dumping. Buyer may be subject to a fine and/or banned from future participation in these auctions.


The vehicles being auctioned may be subject to open recall notices. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to check for and act upon any applicable recall notices. Recalls and other vehicle safety information is available at the national highway traffic safety administration website: www.nhtsa.gov/recalls

All vehicles must be towed off City property. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Vehicles cannot be driven off the lot. Only a single person is allowed to relocate/tow the vehicle.

Bidding, payment, name change requests, and removal are the responsibility of the registered bidder to abide by the terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to any of these will result in bidder being banned from future auctions.

Winning bidders will receive 2 emails on the Monday following the close of auction. One email will include the invoice. A 2nd email will contain instructions on the following items: Payment, Removal, and requesting Name Changes on paperwork.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

See registration deadline above. Registration after deadline will be rejected.

The City and County of Denver and Dickensheet & Associates, Inc. reserve the right to accept or reject any registration. Only complete and accurate registration will be approved. PO Box’s will automatically be rejected.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

An invoice will be forwarded to the registration email address along with a separate email outlining further instructions regarding cash payments.

Invoices will be sent by email to the address utilized for registration on the day following the auction, estimated 9:00 am.

Vectra Bank: Accepted at all Vectra Bank locations throughout the State of Colorado on either the Monday or Tuesday by Noon following the auction. Be aware these locations may be closed on Holiday’s.

ZELLE

Please send transfer info to [email protected], with your invoice number noted in the memo section. All Zelle payments would need to be completed by successful bidders to assure the payment is noted in Auctioneer’s account prior to payment deadline. Be aware Zelle transfers can take 24 hours to process and is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure payment is received on time. Please note that while Zelle itself does not charge a fee for its services, some banks or financial institutions may apply transaction fees or other charges on your end. Please review the terms and conditions of your bank or contact them directly to confirm whether additional fees may apply when using Zelle.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

Visa, Mastercard and Discover will be accepted as a form of payment for purchases under $500.00 with a 2% convenience fee.

Please note that by utilizing a card, that the paperwork would need to be issued as registered into the system (for name etc). When reviewing statements on the account, Dickensheet & Associates, Inc. will be processing payment on the vehicles, not the City and County of Denver.

If paying by credit card AND requesting a name change, the credit card must be in the name of the requested change. Registered bidders credit card shall not be accepted.

No automatic payments are processed. To use a credit card, buyer must contact auctioneer to authorize charge.

WIRE TRANSFERS

All wire transfers must be received by the auctioneers no later than Noon on Tuesday. Be aware wire transfers can take 24 hours to process and is buyer’s responsibility to ensure payment is received on time.

PAPERWORK FOR VEHICLE

All paperwork shall be filled out in registered bidders name and address unless a change is requested. Any request(s) for a name change to a person(s) whose account has been suspended, will automatically be denied and may automatically be placed in a registered bidder's name. Suspended bidder name change requests may result in registered bidder's account being suspended. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure all paperwork is accurate.

An email will be sent on the Monday following the auction with instructions if you need to request a name change. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure request for name change is received by the Auctioneers by the deadline. Neither the City and County of Denver nor Dickensheet & Associates, Inc. are responsible if request is not received by the deadline. See Terms for more details.

Duplicates for lost paperwork for abandoned/confiscated vehicles are available at the cost of $10.00.

REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

An email will be sent on the Monday following the auction with a SignUp Genius link to arrange an appointment for removal. When scheduling, enter the same name utilized for the registration. Please schedule one appointment time per vehicle purchased.

Parties on site that do not make an appointment are subject to availability. Please schedule an available appointment or have the driver leave their phone number with the auction representative on site.

Vehicles cannot be driven off the lot or towed immediately outside the fence line. Immediate towing only will be permitted for this auction.

Paperwork and key (if applicable) will be available at the gate at check in. Paperwork and key will only be given to authorized driver. Please ensure the authorized driver receives the paperwork and key (if applicable) prior to relocation of the vehicle. Team members will be on site for assistance.

Any vehicles left in the auction yard or unattended along adjacent streets will be towed and impounded, and all related charges will be assessed against the vehicle.

When arriving on site, the buyer, tow truck driver, or party completing removal must present a paid invoice. Paid invoice must be a hard copy or they must access invoice by their mobile device.

Tow trucks or flatbeds are preferred for removal. Trailers and tow dollies are allowed, but electric (or powered) winches are required. No tow straps or push/pull methods are allowed. Only one (1) driver allowed in the vehicle when entering the lot and towing out vehicle(s). If buyer utilizes trailer and tow dollies, they must be able to relocate vehicle(s) with only 1 person.

If utilizing a tow dolly or trailer, be aware your time may be limited based on space and accessibility. Generally, the best time to come with a trailer or tow dolly is Noon or later. Be aware that all vehicles must be removed by the deadline, no exceptions.

For auctions with 100 or more vehicles to be sold, removal times are 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, must be checked in by 2:30PM and all vehicles must be removed by 3:00 pm or buyer is subject to default- NO EXCEPTIONS. For auctions with less than 100 vehicles, removal times are 8:30 am - 2:00 pm, must be checked in by 1:30 pm and all vehicles must be removed by 2:00 pm or buyer is subject to default- NO EXCEPTIONS.

There will NOT be an opportunity for locksmith services, tire repairs, battery replacements or any other services within the lot. NO EXCEPTIONS!
