Framed Art Print - Detail of "Oarsmen at Chatou" by Pierre-Auguste Renoir

Description

Originally painted by the renowned French painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, this framed reproduction of the 1879 Impressionist masterpiece Oarsmen at Chatou (Les Canotiers à Chatou) captures a leisurely boating scene along the Seine River in Chatou, a favorite countryside retreat for Impressionist artists outside of Paris. This print is presented in a traditional wooden frame and brings the bright colors and fluid, light-filled brushstrokes of classic French Impressionism into any cultured living space. In good to fair condition, with scratches and wear along the frame; frame is missing glass. Image is slightly faded. Please see photos for details.
