Vintage Oil on Canvas Painting of a Coastal Home - Signed "A. Kline"

Description

Dated vintage, this oil on canvas landscape painting depicts a quaint cottage nestled on a grassy hillside, sheltered beneath a canopy of dense, autumnal trees. The land the house sits on slopes gently down toward a serene coastal inlet or harbor, where smaller seaside structures and a lone sailboat sit under a hazy, muted sky. Housed in a classic gold frame, this painting beautifully captures a nostalgic, rustic tranquility through its thick, visible impasto paint and rich, earthy color palette. Signed "A. Kline" by the unknown artist en verso. Painting appears to be a copied, mid-century motif. In good condition, with wear and scratches along the frame. Please see photos for details.
