Antique Powder Horn with Wooden Stopper & Strap

Description

Antique-style powder horn featuring a naturally curved horn body with a tapered wooden stopper and attached black fabric carrying strap. Measures approximately 8” long overall. The horn has a dark aged surface with natural color variation and visible wear throughout. The wooden stopper also shows age and surface wear. Strap is tied through the horn fittings and appears later/replacement rather than original. Condition shows age-related scratches, scuffs, discoloration, surface dirt, and general wear. Exact age, origin, and historical use are unknown. A nice primitive or early Americana-style display piece for a hunting, muzzleloading, colonial, or rustic collection.
