Vintage 1940s Silvertone Art Deco Inverted Console Radio Phonograph Combination

classic piece of mid-century Americana,Silvertone multi-band console radio paired with an integrated slide-out mechanical record changer turntable. Housed in a dramatic Art Deco style wood cabinet, the design features contrasting walnut veneer accents, distinctive vertical waterfall reeding on the side pillars, and a glass slide-rule tuning dial face over push-button station selectors. The lower center grill includes a slide-out compartment revealing the phonograph deck, while the open rear chassis displays its original vacuum tube array, transformers, and Sears, Roebuck and Co. identification labels. Dimensions: Housed in a substantial floor console cabinet measuring approximately 38 inches high by 32 inches wide by 16 inches deep. Condition Report: Offered in as-found, unrestored estate condition for parts, repair, or a historical restoration project. The wooden cabinet remains structurally sound with beautiful grain patterns, showing typical superficial scuffs, scratches, lower edge veneer chips and moisture damage, and cosmetic wear from age. The center speaker fabric grille is torn and has pulled away from the upper frame. The internal electrical components, vacuum tubes, and wiring are heavily weathered; the unit is untested for electronic functionality and will require rewiring and professional servicing before safe operation.
