Edward VIII Coronation Mug by Grimwades, Union Jack Motif

This commemorative mug, produced by Grimwades for the coronation of King Edward VIII, features the king's profile flanked by Union Jack flags and ornate gold detailing. The base bears the Grimwades maker's mark. The mug displays a decorative border along the rim and a commemorative crest to mark the king's brief reign in 1936. These mugs were produced in limited numbers because Edward VIII's coronation was canceled, making them historically significant. Condition appears consistent with age, with some minor staining and wear visible. See photos for measurements, if taken.
