Gold Tone Pearl Brooches: Heart & Oval Drop Set

Description

Two gold-tone brooches featuring simulated pearls. One pin is an openwork heart design adorned with fine engraved detailing and three suspended faux pearl drops. The second is an oval brooch with a large central simulated pearl, surrounded by smaller round faux pearls, with an additional teardrop-shaped pearl element hanging at the bottom. The oval brooch is marked 'MONET' on the reverse, indicating the well-known costume jewelry maker. The back of the heart brooch is marked '© PP'. Both pieces have secure pin-back closures and display light surface wear consistent with careful handling. These brooches are collectible examples of mid- to late-20th-century costume jewelry.
