Crown Ducal King Edward VIII Coronation Mug Union Flags

Description

This is a commemorative mug made by Crown Ducal, as indicated by the mark on the base. The mug features a decorative portrait of King Edward VIII surrounded by Union Flags and royal iconography, produced for the coronation that ultimately did not occur. The rim has a gold decorative band. The portrait is flanked by a laurel wreath, crown, and various flags. The base bears the Crown Ducal made in England stamp, further confirming its authenticity. This item shows some age-related wear on the base. See photos for measurements, if taken.
