Cast Iron Scottie Dog Coin Bank with Red Paint Finish

Description

Cast iron coin bank shaped like a Scottish Terrier (Scottie dog), with a mostly red finish and paint wear indicating age and use. The slot for coins is located at the top of the dog's back, and the bank is accessible via a screw-locked trapdoor on the underside, which is painted green. The item displays molded fur texture and sculpted details, with notable paint loss on the ears and snout. This piece likely dates to the mid-20th century and suits collectors of cast iron banks or dog memorabilia. See photos for measurements, if taken.
