Limited-edition WWII aviation and airborne print by artist Les Carter depicting Operation Market Garden, September 17, 1944, the massive Allied airborne operation over the Netherlands. The dramatic scene shows aircraft, gliders and paratroopers descending over the battlefield, with insignia of participating American, British and Polish airborne units incorporated into the artwork. Numbered 349 of 1,000 and hand signed by artist Les Carter along with numerous WWII airborne veterans. Visible signatures include Earl M. Cleary and several additional veterans, including an inscription referencing the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.
