Matching pair of limited-edition WWII aviation prints by renowned aviation artist Robert Taylor, depicting dramatic scenes from the Allied airborne operations on D-Day, June 6, 1944. “Crash-Landing” depicts a fully loaded CG-4 Waco glider being brought into the Normandy battlefield. “Into Battle” depicts U.S. paratroopers descending from C-47 Dakotas into the drop zone inland from Utah Beach. Both prints are numbered 472/1000, making them a desirable matching-number pair. Published by The Military Gallery, Bath, England in 1994.
