Antique Flame Mahogany Serpentine Chest of Drawers with Glass Knobs

Description

This antique chest of drawers features a striking flame mahogany veneer with a serpentine front and sides. It is equipped with four drawers, each adorned with a pair of clear glass octagonal knobs and decorative keyhole escutcheons. The top shows significant surface wear, including scratches, water marks, and areas where the finish has worn off. The back panel appears to be original and in a worn condition, consistent with age. Visible dovetail joinery suggests older construction. The overall structure is solid, but the piece exhibits typical wear for an item of its age, including chips and imperfections to the wood and finish.
