Vintage 1979 Big Star Old Ocean View Park Calendar with "Horse and Buggy Days" Plaque

Vintage framed 1979 calendar from Big Star Foods, 179 West Ocean View Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23503. The calendar features four historic sepia-toned images of "The Old Ocean View Park" including the entrance, boardwalk, concert area, and the original Nansemond Hotel. A brass plaque on the frame reads "HORSE AND BUGGY DAYS P. DETLEFSEN". The calendar measures 22x26 inches. The wooden frame shows wear, including scratches and some scuffs. The backing paper is torn in several places, and the frame corners show some wear and scuffing consistent with age. Location Art Cart 6
