Ohio Ephemera Lot: Vintage Newspapers, Photos & Travel Maps

An extensive archive of vintage Ohio-centric ephemera and historical print media, primarily focused on the Columbus and Franklin County regions. The collection spans the mid-20th century and highlights local journalism, cultural milestones, and period advertising. Vintage Newspapers: A large assortment of local newspapers including multiple editions of The Grove City Record (dating from 1937 and 1938), The Columbus Sunday Dispatch Graphic Section (1936), The Columbus Citizen (1956), and a historic February 20, 1962 edition of the Columbus Evening Dispatch covering John Glenn’s orbital spaceflight. Historical Photographs: Three large-format, matted black-and-white photographs depicting early 20th-century commercial interiors, including a detailed look at an old-fashioned pharmacy or general store with staff behind glass display cases. Travel & Collectibles: A selection of mid-century regional travel maps and promotional tourism pamphlets from Ontario, Quebec, and Pennsylvania issued by prominent fuel brands like Standard Oil and Sterling Gasoline. Also includes several small illustrated space-themed trading cards. The paper items and newspapers show expected age-related toning, minor edge wear, and folding creases consistent with long-term storage.
