Lot Includes: 1 Antique primitive metal colander strainer bowl with dual riveted side handles 1 Antique matching detachable metal pedestal ring base Please review all photos carefully to evaluate the exact cosmetic condition and weathering before bidding. Condition Overview Colander Strainer Basin: The large metal basin is structurally stable, free of catastrophic breakthroughs or soft rusted-out structural failures along the walls. The hand-punched drainage holes are clear of solid blockages. The interior and exterior surfaces display an advanced antique weathering patina, including widespread oxidation, deep pitting, dark metal discolored spots, and heavy orange surface rust where the original protective tin plating has worn away. Both loop handles are securely fixed by their original iron rivets. Detachable Pedestal Base: The separate flared metal ring foot shows deep rust, finish wear, and light distortion consistent with historical heavy kitchen usage. The ring base has detached from the lower basin undercarriage, making this item a true rustic salvage piece.
