Condition Overview Dan-Dee Potato Chip Tin: The iconic yellow 1.5 lb. canister is in structurally stable condition with minimal bowing. The lithograph graphics remain vivid and clean on the front face, showing light rim wear, minor scratches, and scattered surface oxidation dots concentrated near the top and bottom crimped seams. The matching yellow lid is intact with normal storage scuffs. Dan-Dee Pretzel Tin: The large metallic gold pretzel can shows advanced age and character. The black text and pretzel graphics are fully legible, but the tin surface exhibits a dark aged patina with moderate scuffing, surface tarnish, and scattered paint loss. The original plain metal lid has dark surface oxidation and minor edge dings. Sucher's Yummy Lard Tin: The smaller blue and yellow canister is physically sound with its wire bail handle attached. The front brand shield is crisp, and the reverse side features a wonderfully detailed graphic of a cherry pie with an intact paper recipe label. The metal surface shows light paint scratches, rim rub wear, and a heavily rusted top lid panel. MFB Shortening Tin: The large 50 lb. commercial shortening container is structurally robust, measuring approximately 12 inches tall. The cream and blue paint scheme shows classic kitchen weathering, including scattered paint chips, localized grease staining, and moderate surface rust bleed around the upper lip and wire loop handles. Faux Woodgrain Tin Bucket: The cylindrical metal bucket features a clean, continuous faux wood grain lithograph pattern. The matching lid and brown plastic swing handle are securely attached. The exterior shows only light scuffs, minor finish loss along the lid rim, and a clean interior base.
