Russel Wright Coral Creamer & Homer Laughlin Apple Tree Bowl Group Lot

Description: A five-piece vintage kitchen and dining estate assortment spanning mid-century modern art pottery, 1930s dinnerware, and pressed glass. The featured pottery centerpiece is an original Russel Wright American Modern ceramic cream pitcher finished in a satin-gloss coral-salmon slip glaze, styled with a fluid organic teardrop shape and an integrated looping handle. Accompanying it is an authentic 1930s Homer Laughlin China Company ivory cream mixing bowl embossed with Frederick Rhead’s iconic high-relief "Appletree" orchard design, along with a matching two-piece speckle-pink glazed teapot companion sugar or condiment pot with a drop-in lid. Glassware includes a textured clear glass sunflower-petal serving bowl and an avocado-green pressed glass salad basin molded with a continuous daisy and vine pattern. Dimensions: The Russel Wright coral creamer measures 7.5 inches long from spout to handle by 3.75 inches wide and stands 3 inches high. The Homer Laughlin ivory mixing bowl measures 8.75 inches in diameter across the top rim and stands 4 inches high. The avocado-green glass bowl has a diameter of 8.5 inches. Markings: The underside base of the coral creamer features a clear impressed signature hallmark reading "Russel Wright / mfg. Steubenville". The avocado-green glass bowl is molded on the interior bottom with a centralized shield emblem belonging to the Federal Glass Company. The clear sunflower glass dish, pink lidded jar, and ivory orchard bowl are unbranded, with the orchard bowl displaying an incised shape classification code. Condition: Very good vintage condition across the collection. The Russel Wright creamer, Federal Glass green bowl, and clear sunflower bowl are entirely free of chips, cracks, or structural fractures. The historic Homer Laughlin apple tree bowl is free of structural chips or breaks but exhibits comprehensive, age-appropriate glaze crazing lines across the exterior details and inside the basin floor, typical of 1930s earthenware. The pink lidded jar is structurally sound with minor underglaze factory pinholes and glaze thinning along the inner lid ring. Light shelf wear is present on the unglazed bases.
