1881 True & Co. Morning, Noon, Night Victorian Chromolithograph Print

Description A rare and vibrant original Victorian chromolithograph print titled "Morning, Noon, Night," published by the prominent 19th-century printmakers True & Co. of Augusta, Maine, bearing an explicit 1881 copyright. This highly stylized piece of Americana depicts three distinct allegorical tiers filled with hundreds of expressive cherubic infants and toddlers. The top tier (Morning) illustrates children waking up, playing in large teacups, and bathing in washbasins under the watchful eyes of winged angels. The middle tier (Noon) captures an active outdoor park setting filled with children pushing strollers, playing with balls, and embracing. The bottom tier (Night) shows a central child asleep in a draped crib while surrounded by dozens of resting, crying, and cradled babies. The lower margins retain the authentic lithographer credits: "Published by True & Co. Augusta, Maine" and "Copyright True & Co. 1881". The artwork is presented in an antique, period-correct molded wood frame with a clear glass protective front panel.
