Vintage Mission Bell California Ceramic Nesting Mixing Bowls - Turquoise & Green

A charming pair of vintage mid-century American kitchen nesting mixing bowls manufactured by Mission Bell California. The set includes one vibrant turquoise blue bowl and one pastel celadon green bowl, both showcasing a classic tapered silhouette decorated with crisp horizontal accent rings wrapped around the upper shoulders. The underside of the turquoise bowl bears a distinct incised stamp reading: "MISSION BELL, 703, USA, CALIFORNIA", along with three prominent unglazed kiln stilt marks. The green bowl shares the matching form, size, and underglaze markings, featuring the incised style number "703 USA" beneath the maker name. Dimensions Top Diameter: Approximately 8.75 inches (22.2 cm) each Height: Approximately 5.5 inches (14.0 cm) each Condition Report True Ceramic Condition: Both bowls are structurally sound and free from structural cracks, fractures, or major repairs. The pottery bodies retain their authentic, heavy weight and shape. True Glaze Wear: The exterior glossy glazes on both vessels remain smooth and highly presentable. The inner floor of the green bowl is very clean. True Rim Imperfections: Close inspection reveals heavy usage wear confined strictly to the inner rim of the turquoise bowl. The upper interior edge displays extensive superficial glaze scratching, flecking, and minor wear to the color layer along the interior lip perimeter from historic kitchen use. The rim of the green bowl is in much smoother condition with minimal usage marking.
