Bromwell's Sifter, Taylor Meat Thermometer & Vintage Kitchenware Lot

Description: A comprehensive eleven-piece country kitchen estate assortment of primitive baking tools, prep utensils, and advertising culinary accessories. The focal pieces include a classic hand-crank measuring flour sifter, a tabletop mechanical nut or spice grinder built with a clear glass jar base and an upper metal hopper featuring a hand-painted floral decal, and an original vintage liquid-in-glass roast meat thermometer housed inside its graphic retail storage box. Accompanying items include a pair of round tin-plate cake baking pans fitted with rotating metal slide release bars, a large circular aluminum mixing tray, and a grouping of five matching wire mesh hand strainers finished with varied turned natural wood, green, and black composite handles. Dimensions: The Bromwell's sifter stands 6.5 inches high by 6 inches wide from handle edge to outer cylinder wall. The glass nut grinder stands 7.25 inches high. The round slide-release cake pans measure 9 inches in diameter. The wire hand strainers measure between 7.5 inches to 11.5 inches in total length. Markings: Heavily detailed with explicit manufacturer branding hallmarks. The sheet metal sifter body is embossed with bold block text reading "BROMWELL'S / MADE IN USA / MEASURING-SIFTER" along with volume increment indicators tracking "ONE CUP", "TWO CUPS", and "THREE CUPS". The vintage thermometer faceplate displays the brand hallmark "Taylor" alongside temperature tracking zones for specific meat categories. The original cardboard box lid is dynamically lithographed with the script corporate logo reading "Taylor / Roast Meat / Thermometer". The remaining wire sifters and tin baking blocks are unbranded. Condition: Authentic vintage and primitive condition with standard signs of domestic age. All mechanical components across the collection remain structurally intact and functional; the Bromwell sifter crank turns smoothly, the nut grinder handle spins its internal teeth gears as intended, and the cake pan sliders pivot cleanly. The tin-plate and aluminum surfaces exhibit a heavily weathered gray patina, showing comprehensive surface scratching, localized cooking carbon tracking, and minor pinpoint red-brown rust oxidation spots along the interior mesh wire grids and rolled seam bands. The Taylor paper storage sleeve remains solid with brilliant color registers, exhibiting only minor shelf-rubbing and light corner denting from long-term storage.
