Vintage Glazed Ceramic Planters Ziggy Flower Pot & Boot Vases Estate Lot

Description: A multi-piece estate collection of vintage mid-century American novelty planters, art pottery vases, and character kitchenware. The grouping features a large, heavy brown ceramic work-boot or shoe planter with textured laces, a small red ceramic button-up boot vase accented by golden rivets, a matching pair of cream-colored pedestal chalice planters decorated with embossed cherub figures, a rectangular cream glaze footed trough planter molded with an all-over floral leaf pattern, an original 1970s comic character Ziggy miniature ceramic flower pot with its matching drainage saucer tray, and a pair of cream and brown speckled ceramic individual crocks. Dimensions: The large brown work-boot planter measures approximately 10.5 inches in length by 5 inches wide and stands 5.5 inches high. The pair of matching cream cherub urns each stand 6.25 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter. The rectangular floral trough measures 8.75 inches long by 4.5 inches wide. Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. The ceramic and earthenware pottery bodies across the entire collection are structurally sound with stable walls and completely free of large hairline fractures. The brown work-boot planter exhibits minor original factory glaze skips and tiny superficial paint fleabites along its outer white rim lip. The red boot vase shows light paint chipping on its upper rim contour and toe edge. The McCoy cherub chalices and the Haeger trough planter retain beautiful gloss levels, displaying only standard underglaze factory pinholes and light shelf wear along their unglazed bottom feet.
