Vintage Camp Coffee Chicory Tin & Planters & Kroger Cashews Cans Lot

Description: A vintage three-piece advertising grocery tin collection spanning mid-century domestic snack canisters and historic British imports. The focal piece is a tall, cylindrical tin container for Camp Coffee with Chicory, featuring detailed multi-colored lithographed graphics depicting an iconic Scottish Highlander officer being served coffee outside a tent. Accompanying the tall cylinder are two vintage key-opening style keyless nut tins: a deep blue Planters Whole Cashews container featuring the signature Mr. Peanut illustration, and a white, orange, and yellow Kroger Salted Cashews container highlighting an "Easy Open Top" banner. Both nut canisters retain their original semi-flexible translucent plastic lid caps. Dimensions: The tall Camp Coffee tin cylinder stands approximately 11.5 inches high by 3.5 inches in diameter. The Kroger nut tin stands 3.75 inches high by 4 inches in diameter. The Planters nut tin stands 3.5 inches high by 4 inches in diameter. Markings: The tall beverage cylinder features comprehensive branding reading "CAMP COFFEE WITH CHICORY" along with the slogan "READY AYE READY" and production text reading "Sole Proprietors Paterson & Sons, Ltd. Glasgow." The Kroger container is explicitly labeled "Kroger / Packed by the Kroger Co., Cincinnati, Ohio". The Planters canister reads "PLANTERS Whole Cashews / Mfd. by Planters, Suffolk, VA. A Division of Standard Brands Inc." Condition: Good vintage advertising condition. All three tinplate cylinders are structurally sound with stable seams and no deep side panel dents. The lithographed paper and painted labels retain bold color registers with minor surface handling marks and light storage scuffs. The tall Camp Coffee tin shows fine age-appropriate pinpoint tarnish dots settled along its top and bottom rim bands. The original plastic snap caps remain flexible and fit snugly.
