Vintage Cast Iron Oversized Jacks Bookends | Pair of Antique Game Piece Decor

Description: A pair of heavy, vintage mid-century architectural bookends or paperweights molded in the shape of oversized children's jacks game pieces. Cast from solid iron, each six-pointed jack features four spherical ball tips and two tapered conical points. One piece retains an aged metallic gold-painted finish, while the companion piece features a distressed metallic silver over black finish. Dimensions: Each jack measures approximately 5.5 inches wide by 5.5 inches deep and stands 4.75 inches in height. Markings: No foundry numbers, production stamps, or maker hallmarks are present on the raw metal cast surfaces. Condition: Weathered vintage condition. Both heavy iron pieces exhibit significant finish wear, paint loss, and surface scratching from handling. The metallic silver jack displays a naturally aged patina with patches of surface rust oxidation localized along the central hub and tips. The castings are structurally sound with zero cracks or broken points.
